I can't believe this just came on my iTunes. After I watched The Passion. Brings me back to senior year JB's. I miss that more than I can properly articulate. Floooood of emotions just came surging over me. Jesus died on the cross today for MY sins so that I could have a relationship with God. Kelsey sacrificed so much so that I could know about Jesus. I became an official Young Life leader today. All alone in the dorms for Easter weekend..never felt so alone, yet so loved and wanted by Him. It blows my mind that the God of the Universe cares enough about me to send his son as the perfect sacrifice. I am so undeserving of His grace. People mocked Jesus when He was there. In the flesh. My friends, family, strangers mock him today. It infuriates me. He DIED so that you can live life to the full. But they're not. They're not doing anything. They're mocking him. Making fun of him. Saying he doesn't exist. Why are we letting this go to waste? Why are the Christians the social outcasts? He didn't just die for those who believe. He died for every single person on this earth. Our names, every one of them were on his mind when he was on that cross. Our sin, our indiscretions were on his shoulders. He had a purpose when he was born. He knew he was to die so that people forever can be in relationship with our Maker, and have the eternal life in Heaven with Him. How could you not want to be a part of that?
